Trip-New England Exp - Salem Cross Inn Fireplace Feast & Sleigh Ride

NEW ENGLAND EXPLORER TRIP: FIREPLACE FEAST AND SLEIGH RIDE
Hop on the Rec Dept mini bus for a WINTER GET-A-WAY!
We will spend the day enjoying the best a New England Winter has to offer.
Our destination is Salem-Cross Inn Restaurant and Tavern in West Brookfield, MA, a family run restaurant that opened in 1961. They have established a reputation as one of the finest restaurants in New England, hosting a number of special events re-enacting Colonial history and cooking.

Relax by the fire or lend a hand as dinner is prepared for you in colonial style. Stir the chowder as it bubbles in their cast iron cauldron. See your prime rib roasted "to a turn", as the only known authentic Roasting Jack still operating in America rotates over a crackling fire of wild cherry logs. Beware the brimming bowl of fresh whipped cream- the perfect complement to New England's best apple pie.
While your dinner is cooking to perfection, enjoy a horse-drawn wagon or sleigh ride through the valley on the Inn's pristine 600 acres. Browse their extensive collection of colonial and federal period American antiques.

Cost is: $115 per person for residents and non-residents; all inclusive!
Children, ages 10 and under: $55 per child

Includes: transportation, horse-drawn wagon or sleigh ride, mulling and chowder demonstrations, warmed mulled wine or cider with their famous cheese spread and an all you can eat feast!

All you can eat Fireplace Feast prepared on the open hearth of a great fieldstone fireplace, includes:
